KELLY EDWARDS (Taylor)

Licensed Paralegal with the Law Society of Ontario

After successfully completing the Legal Office Administration and Law Clerk Programs, with honours in 2001, Kelly began her legal career at Osler, Hoskin, Harcourt, LLP as a Paraprofessional Data Clerk.  It was in this role that she developed experience in managing large and complex document-driven cases, the collection of data, the process to review the data, as well as, the analysis and production of relevant documents to be used in Court proceedings.

In 2003, Kelly joined Alan J. McMackin Professional Corporation in a Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant/Law Clerk role.  While with Alan J. McMackin Professional Corporation, Kelly obtained extensive experience in various areas of civil litigation and civil procedures, as well as a vast knowledge of Small Claims Court and procedures.  She provided support and assistance to Senior Counsel on all matters from the initial client meeting through to completion of the matter, including attendances at trials, in all levels of Court, as well as, settlements and enforcements.

After returning to school to further her legal studies, Kelly graduated with honours from the Paralegal Program at Durham College and successfully completed the Law Society of Ontario’s Paralegal Licensing Exam in November 2018.

Kelly prides herself on her dedication, determination, compassion and hard work which has proven to be effective and efficient.
